ACTA HOTELS has established an Ethics Channel in accordance with Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of persons reporting regulatory violations and fighting corruption. This channel is available to any person, whether or not they are a member of the Group, to report any type of illicit behavior—particularly those that may have criminal relevance or that go against the principles and values of ACTA HOTELS.
The Ethics Channel comprises the following communication methods with the Group:
a) Via the following link: https://whistleblowersoftware.com/secure/canaleticoactahotels, where one may choose whether the communication is received by the person Responsible for the Internal Information System, Ms. Carolina Rodero, or by the independent law firm RCD Legal.
b) Verbally, by reporting directly to the Responsible for the Internal Information System, with whom a face-to-face meeting can be arranged to explain and detail the facts being reported.
c) Through communication by employees to their supervisors or managers within the Group.
In addition to the above, any formal communication by a judicial body or a Public Administration will be considered a valid means for becoming aware of a violation.
Reports can be submitted anonymously or with identification, and both will be treated equally and with the same level of attention.
The Ethics Channel can be used to report any breach committed by members of ACTA HOTELS or by third parties not belonging to the Group but who maintain professional relationships with it.
Additionally, through the Ethics Channel, any member of the Group or external third party may raise questions regarding ACTA HOTELS’ regulatory compliance system.
To regulate the use of the Ethics Channel and the procedure for investigation and resolution of reports, ACTA HOTELS has approved and implemented the Whistleblowing Policy and the Protocol for the management, investigation, and resolution of reports.
ACTA HOTELS has taken the necessary measures to prevent any form of retaliation against whistleblowers, including threats and attempts at retaliation. The company will also ensure that all whistleblowers have access, as appropriate, to the support measures necessary to ensure their effective protection.
Whistleblowers may also direct their reports to the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority of Catalonia (the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia, website: www.antifrau.cat) or to the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority, A.A.I. (the national-level authority), depending on the geographical scope of the reported issue.
